single cells

Hi all,
	I would like to get single cells from a cell
culture. I don't want protoplasts but I also don't
want clumps, so I don't think filters/mesh would be
appropriate. Most protoplast procedures call for a mix
of pectinase and cellulase. Has anyone tried using just pectinase?
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
