PROTEIN BIOLOGY/PROTEOMICS <BR>
The Department of Botany at the University of Toronto invites
applications for a Tenure-Track Faculty Position at the Assistant
Professor level in the areas of protein biology/proteomics.
Areas for recruitment include, but are not restricted to,
protein structure/function, protein-protein interaction, protein-DNA
interactions, protein design and evolution, and bioinfomatics.
Candidates from all fields who have an interest in plant or
microbial biology will be considered. The successful candidate
will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate
teaching of plant biochemistry, and to interact with faculty members
across campus working in proteomics, genomics and bioinfomatics.
Applicants should arrange to have four reference letters sent
directly to the address below. In addition, applicants should
forward a curriculum vitae, copies of significant publications and
statements of research and teaching interests, to Chair, Protein
Biology Search Committee, Department of Botany, University of
