A non-tenure track position is available from January 1st, 2002 to study
plant chromatin structure supported initially by an NSF-funded Plant Genome
project. Applicants should have three or more years of postdoctoral
research experience in Plant Biology-related research areas. Expertise in
advanced microscopy involving state-of-the-arts 3-D fluorescence microscopy
using deconvolution technology is required in addition to proficiency in
molecular techniques for binary vector construction. Familiarity with
Arabidopsis transformation via Agrobacterium tumefaciens and in vivo
application of the Green Fluorescent Protein is highly desirable. Annual
salary for the position will start in the range of $42,987, commensurate
