The Nottingham Arabidopsis Stock Centre (NASC) and the Arabidopsis
Biological Resource Center (ABRC) are pleased to announce the availability
of 103 launchpad lines (remobilisable transposons).
The launchpad lines exploit the maize Ac/Ds transposition system to create
a targeted insertional mutagenesis system in Arabidopsis (Landsberg
erecta). The lines have also been mapped by clone filter hybridisation;
and by blast searches with IPCR generated sequence tags against genome
Paul Muskett at the John Innes Centre generated and donated the lines and
further information about the lines including details of the Ac and Ds
constructs and how to detect transposition events.
These stocks may be ordered from ABRC and NASC through the web as
CS/N 44001 to 44051 inclusive, and
CS/N 100528 to 100583 inclusive.
Feel free to contact us if you have questions. Prices and additional stock
information are available on our Web sites.
