The Department of Biological Sciences, University at Buffalo, The State
University of New York, invites applications for a TENURE-TRACK position at
the level of Assistant Professor starting in September 2002.  We are
seeking applications from individuals with expertise in the broad areas of
Developmental Biology and/or Gene Regulation in Eukaryotic organisms.
Faculty members in the Department are involved in a wide variety of
research programs spanning the breadth of the Biological Sciences.
Outstanding research facilities and a competitive set-up package will be
provided to the successful candidate.  The successful candidate will be
expected to develop an active externally funded research program and to
teach in their area of expertise.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. and at
least two years of postdoctoral experience.
