Postdoctoral positions available October 1, 2002,  to study the signaling
pathways and structural proteins in drought and salt stress in Arabidopsis
and rice.  The experimental approaches include microarrays, proteomics,
genetics, transient assays and transgenic plants.   Particular emphasis
will be on protein:protein interactions and protein phosphorylation using
UNL's state of the art proteomics  facilities  and on genetic screens using
RNA-suppression strategies in single cells.   Minimum requirements include
a Ph.D. in biochemistry or molecular biology.   Salaries will be
