Plant Cell Wall Biosynthesis Meeting
May 12-15, 2002
UCLA Lake Arrowhead Conference Center
The NSF-funded Plant Cell Wall Biosynthesis Research Network
(WallBioNet) is organizing a Plant Cell Wall Biosynthesis Meeting
that will be held May 12-15, 2002 at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead
Conference Center. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together
researchers studying all aspects of plant cell wall biosynthesis in
order to facilitate discussion and to promote progress in the field.
The program will include two invited lectures, short talks and poster
presentations. Due to space restrictions, the meeting will be limited
to 100 attendees. Electronic preregistration is available at
<http://xyloglucan.prl.msu.edu/index.html>http://xyloglucan.prl.msu.ed

2002. The abstract deadline is February 15, 2002. Full registration
with payment is due March 15, 2002.
Funds are available to cover the registration costs of a minimum of
30 postdoctoral and graduate student presenters who will be selected
based on their submitted abstracts. Funding decisions made by Feb.
28, 2001. Speakers for each of the sessions will be chosen from the
submitted abstracts.
