Postdoc position in ethylene signaling.

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in Dr. Jose Alonso's
laboratory at the Department of Genetics, North Carolina State University.
Duration: 24+ months.
The goal of the project is to identify and characterize new components in
the ethylene signaling and response pathway in Arabidopsis. Classical
forward and reverse genetics, QTL mapping and genomic approaches are being
utilized to get new insights into the mechanisms that control plant
response to this gaseous hormone.
Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in plant biology and experience in
genetics and molecular biology techniques. Interested candidates should
