TWO POST-DOCTORAL POSITIONS IN HOST-VIRUS INTERACTIONS
S.P. Dinesh-Kumar
Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology
Yale University, New Haven, CT
Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately to work on
host-virus interactions. Project is funded for four years by
NSF-Plant Genome program. Candidates will be using functional
genomics (virus-induced gene silencing, VIGS) and proteomics
approaches. Candidates will co-ordinate their efforts with a
bioinformatics programmer under the guidance of Dr. Hongyu Zhao's lab
at the Yale medical school.
Candidates must have a strong background in biochemistry and
molecular biology. Experience in protein complex purification, HPLC,
gel filtration chromatography, 2D gel electrophoresis and Mass
spectrometry is a plus. Proven publication record is necessary.
Experience in plants is not a requirement. Please send your CV and
three reference letters to savithramma.dinesh-kumar at yale.edu.
Candidates will be joining a dynamic group of post-docs, graduate
students and technicians. For more information visit our lab page
