A non-tenure track Assistant Research Professor position is available at
the Biotech Center at Cook College/Rutgers University to study the
molecular mechanism of resistance to trichothecene mycotoxins produced by
Fusarium species.  Transgenic plants and yeast expressing genes that confer
resistance to trichothecene mycotoxins will be characterized in these
studies. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in a related field and three or
more years of postdoctoral research experience.  Expertise in plant and
yeast molecular biology and genetics, plant tissue culture and
transformation and demonstration of an active publication record is highly
desirable.  Annual salary for the position is $42,987.  Please send a CV
