Department of Biological Sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences at Dartmouth seeks applicants 
for two tenure track positions, open at any level.  One position is 
in the broadly defined area of Biochemistry/Cell Biology.  The second 
position is in the area of Cellular/Molecular Plant Biology.  The 
successful candidates will be expected to supervise independent 
research programs that will attract extramural funding and provide 
research training for graduate and undergraduate students.  The 
candidates will join a group of faculty whose research involves 
cellular, biochemical and genetic approaches to studying problems in 
a number of model systems. Candidates should expect to participate in 
teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Send a current 
curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching interests, a 
list of referees (including FAX numbers and e-mail addresses), and 
arrange to have at least three letters of reference sent under
