TWO Postdoctoral Fellow (Level A) positions
Two postdoctoral positions are available to participate in an ARC Linkage
project that will focus on the cell and molecular biology of higher plant
embryogenesis. The appointees will work as part of a team that will identify
genes whose expression can trigger adventitious embryogenesis in Arabidopsis
thaliana. Candidates should be skilled in molecular biology techniques, with
an interest and some experience in cell and developmental biology.
The project is funded by an ARC Linkage Grant involving researchers at The
Australian National University and a consortium of Industry and Public Good
Organizations. Appointments will be for a fixed-term of three years and are
at all times subject to the provision of appropriate funding. Successful
candidates can start immediately.
Salary range: $42,317 - $51,066* pa. *(A successful applicant holding a PhD
will be appointed at $47,721)
