A Post-doctoral Research Associate position is available immediately in the
Botany Department, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater.  The position is
funded by NSF for 3 years to analyze the function of vacuolar potassium
channels in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.  The overall project will
consist of a combination of reverse genetic, biophysical, and physiological
approaches, and will offer opportunities for training in electrophysiology
(patch-clamp).  Application deadline is September 30 or until the position
is filled. The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. in Plant Cell or
Molecular Biology.  Interested applicants please send a cover letter
