to conduct molecular genetic research on Arabidopsis brassinosteroid
(BR) mutants. The project will involve the cloning and functional
characterization of the GULLIVER gene that is thought to regulate the
expression of the DWARF4 gene in BR biosynthetic pathways. The
successful candidate must have completed a Ph.D. degree in plant
molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related field and
will have 2+ years of research experience including map-based
cloning, T-DNA mutant handling, and generalized molecular biological
techniques. Good verbal and written English skills are essential. The
starting salary is 20,000,000 won per year. The position is available
to qualified individuals for an initial period of one year and is
renewable for up to two additional years. The successful candidate is

publications), (2) a 1-2 page statement of past and current research
and future plans, and (3) contact information of 2-3 references to
