Just wondering whether other groups have found unsual results when conducting Northerns on RNAi lines? We are currently finding widespread hybridisation in the form of several smearing bands (not due to degradation of total RNA) in the RNAi lines. Wild type RNA samples, however, produce sharp single bands of this gene as is expected. ---
