POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGY/BIOCHEMISTRY
UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA
VANCOUVER, CANADA
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join an
international team of researchers at the leading edge of plant lipid
engineering. The successful candidate will be based in Vancouver, a
vibrant city with a mild climate and excellent research and
recreational opportunities.
Candidates should have proven experience in molecular biology and
biochemistry with an emphasis on the molecular genetic manipulation
of plants and/or yeast. Experience in the field of lipid metabolism
and lipid analysis will be advantageous. Excellent communication
skills are required. Salary will be suitable for a recently graduated
Post Doc. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this
position. The position is available immediately for an initial period
of 1 year, and will be extended subject to satisfactory performance.
