<x-flowed>Postdoc Position in the Dept. of Crop, Soil, & Environmental Science,
University of Arkansas

A postdoc position is available starting November 1, 2003 to conduct
research on site-specific gene integration in rice. The project is based
on utilization of Cre-lox system to develop precise integration lines in
rice and study transgene expression in cell lines, plants and progenies
(see related articles below). Specific goals will involve mapping
integration sites and developing improved strategies for site-specific
integration. The candidate should have excellent communication skills.
Experience in molecular biology and plant transformation is required.
