New York University
Department of Biology
Tenured/tenure-track position is currently available (subject to
final administrative and budgetary approval) in the Department of
Biology for an individual with interests in contemporary plant
biology and related areas. Outstanding candidates in other fields
also will be considered. Emphasis will be placed on candidates with
interests in genomics, as part of the development of NYU's recently
established Center for Comparative Functional Genomics. Candidates
will be expected to have or develop active, externally funded
research programs and to participate in the department's teaching
