A NSF-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately to
investigate the dynamic subcellular anchoring of Ran signaling in
plants. Anticipated projects include investigating the functional
re-localization of RanGAP during plant mitosis; the identification of
subcellular anchors of RanGAP; and the genome-wide identification of
large coiled-coil proteins in Arabidopsis using a combination of
computational and experimental approaches. (Gindullis et al., (2002)

urban center of one million with an international flavor and a
pleasant level of sophistication.
To apply, please send a CV, a brief statement of research experience
and research interests, and the names of three references (including
address, phone, and email) to Iris Meier by mail or email. Successful
postdoctoral candidates will have a Ph.D., experience in molecular
biology or cell biology, and a proven record of productivity
including publications in internationally recognized journals.
