Hi

Brian Haas has recently generated two new data resources that may be of
interest to some of you:
Tandem gene duplications in the Arabidopsis genome. Computationally
identified sets of tandemly duplicated genes in the Arabidopsis genome.
Genes Classified by Physical Evidence Support. Retrieve gene lists based on
user-defined search criteria including matches to proteins and ESTs, or lack
thereof.
Both these datasets can be accessed from the Arabidopsis Annotation Database
page http://www.tigr.org/tdb/e2k1/ath1/ath1.shtml
as well as other interesting items such as:
Segmental duplications in the Arabidopsis genome with links to duplicated
genes.
Disease resistance genes identified in Arabidopsis by their domain
signatures (mainly describing the NBS-LRR class of disease resistance
genes.)
> 1000 Splicing Variations in Arabidopsis were annotated during the
incorporation of the currently available EST and full-length cDNA sequences
into the Arabidopsis gene structure annotation.
Non-consensus Splice Sites in Arabidopsis based on high quality transcript
sequence alignments.
Missing Genes in the Arabidopsis genome.

Please send us your comments or suggestions.
Regards to all.
