A postdoctoral research associate position is available to work on a
microtubule motor protein in Arabidopsis. The work involves isolation
of protein complexes using immunoaffinity purification,
identification of individual proteins in the complex and functional
analysis of protein components using reverse genetics. A Ph.D. in
plant molecular biology or a related field is required. Applicants
must have experience in standard biochemical and molecular
techniques. Experience with functional genomics approaches (reverse
genetics, microarrays and proteomics) is desirable. The incumbent
will have an opportunity to participate in other ongoing projects in
the laboratory and is expected to interact with other post-docs,
graduate and undergraduate students in the laboratory. For more
information on our ongoing research projects and recent publications
