<x-flowed>An NSF-funded 3 year postdoctoral position is available in the Fralin
Biotechnology Center at Virginia Tech to investigate the functional
genomics of inositol metabolism and signaling.  The project focuses on
delineating how genes involved in insoitol synthesis and metabolism in
Arabidopsis give rise to a variety of regulated products such as
signaling molecules and Vitamin C.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. in
biochemistry or biology or a related field.  Virginia Tech is located in
the Blue Ridge mountains in Blacksburg, Virginia and has been ranked in
the top ten places to live by Outside Magazine for its balance of
high-tech industry and outdoor adventure.  To apply, send a cover
