Faculty Position in Plant Biology
Assistant or Associate Professor
The Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry at
Brown University announces the opening of a tenure track position in
Plant Biology, effective July 1, 2004.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and a
demonstrated record of excellence in research on some fundamental
problem in experimental plant biology. The appointed applicant will
pursue an independent, externally-funded research program in plant
biology, be an active member of the NIH-funded predoctoral training
program in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry, and
participate in graduate and undergraduate teaching.
The Search Committee will give full consideration to applications
received by December 1, 2003 that include a curriculum vitae,
description of research interests, and at least three letters of
reference (five letters for senior applicants). Application materials
