GARNet election results

<x-flowed>GARNet is the BBSRC funded UK Arabidopsis genomics organisation. The
role of the organisation is to promote and facilitate research
involving Arabidopsis genomics and similar research on other higher
plants in the UK. It has a democratically elected advisory committee
and elections have recently been held for 3 vacant positions. The  new
members are:
Claire Grierson, University of Bristol
Jonathan Jones, Sainsbury Laboratory, Norwich and
Julie Gray, University of Sheffield.

GARNet has a web site (http://www.york.ac.uk/res/garnet/garnet.htm), a
news letter called GARNish
(http://garnet.arabidopsis.org.uk/garnish.html) and an annual
conference (Details on the web-site). Though GARNet is based in the UK
it has strong links with EU and US groups in the area.
