Undergraduate internships in plant science at the Danforth Center

For the fifth year, the Danforth Center in St. Louis will be hosting
undergraduates in its NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates
program.  Interested students should send applications by February 7,
2004.  Applications are available online at
www.danforthcenter.org/internship.

Interns at the Danforth Center gain research experience under the guidance
of experienced mentors in areas that include genetics, genomics,
bioinformatics, cell biology, molecular biology, structural biology,
biochemistry, and plant pathology.

In addition to their research project, interns also participate in
educational activities such as seminars, discussion forums, and tours of
local universities and industry.  Each intern recieves a stipend, housing,
and a travel allowance.  Further information about the program's structure
