looking for good antibodies for any tag

Hi there!

I am expressing an unstable protein tagged with 6His (and its mutants) in
protoplasts and trying to detect it using anti-6His monoclonal antibodies
from Novagen by western blotting.

My results are far from acceptable at this stage despite the ~ 50-60%
transformation efficiency I get each time I transfect protoplasts.
Could anyone give me some advice on great sources of antibodies for small
tags (6His, HA, myc,...)?
