1282 Transcription factor ORF clones to be received by the
Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center (ABRC) from a consortium of
investigators from China, in collaboration with Yale University: A
collection of cDNA clones containing the precise open-reading-frame
(ORF) regions for 1282 Arabidopsis transcription factor genes is
being donated toABRC. All of these ORF clones are individually cloned
into the Gateway(TM) entry vector, and the ORF inserts can be readily
transferred into other compatible Gateway destination vectors. The
investigators donating this collection are:Xi-Ping Wang, Hong-Ya Gu,
Li-Jia Qu, Shu-Nong Bai, Ying-Tang Lu, Jia-Yang Li, Jin-Dong Zhao,
Jian-Ru Zuo, Hai Huang, and Yu-Xian Zhu, for their affiliation
details see below* from China, whose affiliations include the
Peking-Yale joint center of Plant Moelcular genetcis and
Agrobiotechnology - in collaboration with Xing Wang Deng, S.P.
Dinesh-Kumar, and Michael Snyder of Yale University. This Arabidopsis
transcription factor proteome effort was supported by the China
National Natural Science Foundation. These clones will be available
by May 2004.
