One NSF-funded postdoctoral position is available to study the signal
transduction cascades related to phytotoxin-initiated cell death in
Arabidopsis (Science 301:1377-1380, Plant Physiology 128: 1173-1179).
Innovative, independent, and highly motivated candidates are sought
with significant experience in several of the following areas:
molecular biology, protein purification/characterization, mutant
screening, genomics/microarray analysis, library
construction/screening, promoter analysis, cell biology, protein
expression/transgenics, yeast two hybrid system and yeast genetics,
signal transduction analyses. Requirements include a Ph.D. in a
relevant area of plant sciences, molecular/cell biology,
biochemistry, or other related fields. Interested candidates should
