A postdoctoral position is presently available in=20
our Research and Development section in the area=20
of recombination in plants. The candidate must be=20
a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant of=20
Canada and have obtained his doctorate (Ph.D)=20
within the last three years or be in the process=20
of completing his or her thesis.  The candidate=20
must have lab experience in the study and use of=20
recombination systems as tools for plant=20
biotechnology.  Practical experience with plant=20
transformation including regeneration,=20
embryogenesis and in-vitro culture is highly=20
recommended.   This expertise must be supported=20
by scientific publications (journal articles,=20
oral and poster presentations).  Candidates must=20
be eligible for a NSERC Industrial Postdoctoral=20
