Applications are invited for a full-time, tenure track Assistant
Professor Position in Plant Cellular and Molecular Biology.
We seek creative individuals with innovative research interests and a
proven record of accomplishments in an emerging field of plant
biology. Research areas emphasized include but are not limited to
metabolic engineering, modeling and systems biology, genomics, as
well as the cell and molecular and biology of plant model systems.
The major appointment will be in the College of Biological Sciences
with a possible secondary appointment in areas such as pharmacy,
agriculture, or mathematics.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience. The
successful hire is expected to establish a creative and productive
research program, and to excel in undergraduate and graduate
teaching. Laboratory space is located in the new Aronoff
