molecular-genetic, biochemical and physiological techniques. The project
will focus on the identification of transporters for transition metals in
hyperaccumulator plants. Applicants should have experience in biochemistry
and molecular biology and an interest in ion transport and membrane biology.
This project is funded within the EU Research Training Network on "Molecular
Mechanisms of Metal Homeostasis in Higher Plants", which involves eight
partner laboratories across Europe (http://dps.plants.ox.ac.uk/METALHOME/).
Applicants should be nationals of an EU-member or -associated state other
