Senior Research Associate (TP248) - Johnston, Iowa
Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc, is the world leader in the
discovery, development and delivery of elite crop genetics. We are
looking for a Senior Research Associate at our Johnston, Iowa location.
This position will support efforts directed toward developing corn
products with added grain value and work in collaboration with other
research groups to identify key genes controlling grain energy content.
Minimum Master's Degree in biological sciences or equivalent, plus at
least 4 years of directly related experience in molecular biology and
protein related techniques.  The successful candidate will be a highly
motivated, innovative and flexible individual with excellent knowledge
in molecular biology and solid skills in protein-protein interaction and
protein-DNA interaction. Experience in independent design and execution
of experiments is essential. Experience with transcription factors,
yeast two hybrid, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation
are highly desirable. Strong oral and written communication skills and
the ability to work in a team environment are required. For a complete
