[Arabidopsis] spreading wet arabidopsis seeds

Dear colleagues

I would like to spread wet arabidopsis seeds (in 0,1% Agar) on soil. The 
problem is the equal distribution of the seeds. I have two questions:
How many seeds would you recommend for 28x 44 cm space (the plants 
are mutagenized and I need them to set seeds)?
Is there any trick to distrubute the seeds equal on soil, even if they 
are not dry?
