A Postdoctoral position is available to study
small RNAs in plants. Researchers interested in
leveraging both Arabidopsis and the moss
Physcomitrella to understand the functions of
deeply conserved and lineage-specific microRNAs
and siRNAs are encouraged to apply. Additional
research topics include high-throughput discovery
and quantification of plant small RNAs with an
emphasis on technology development and bioinformatics.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Biology or a
related discipline. Candidates with experience
using Arabidopsis and/or Physcomitrella as model
systems are especially encouraged to apply.
The Pennsylvania State University is located in
State College, Pennsylvania, a beautiful and
