Dear Eva
Here at the Nottingham Arabidopsis Stock Center (www.arabidopsis.info),
we offer a complete Affymetrix service for Arabidopsis or any array
available from Affymetrix. Information about our service can be found
at: http://affymetrix.arabidopsis.info/
To use our service, you would provide us with RNA, we would perform
quality control checks, label the RNA, perform the hybridisations and
scans and send you the data. As part of the service we can also help you
with experimental design and analysis of the data. Your data (if
Arabidopsis) will be added to our public database and array express (at
the EBI) after a confidentiality period.
More information about our service can be found at:
http://affymetrix.arabidopsis.info/
If you are not working on a species with an available Affymetrix array,
we offer a cross-species service. This requires an additional genomic
DNA hybridisation using the species you are working on, which we use to
produce a mask that filters out any probes on the array that doesn't
bind to the DNA. This mask file is then used to analyse arrays
hybridised with RNA. Full details and references can be found at:
http://affy.arabidopsis.info/xspecies/
If you have any questions, please let me know.
