[Arabidopsis] Damage of wells - Metphor agarose

Dear Arabidopsis community:
                                             I'm trying to
use metaphor agarose gel ( 3% in 1X TAE) to separate SSLP fragments.
After casting the gel, most of the times when I tried to remove the
combs, wells got damaged. I tried many things like soaking the gel in the
tank, allowing more solidification time etc..still it did not help me.

I'm looking for some feedback to trouble-shoot this problem.
