I am working on wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) transformation. I have made some transgenic plants, but unfortunately after regeneration from callus generated from immature embroys, they are dying in plastic pots.

In plastic pots, I have used soil+sand mix, soil+peat, vermiculite+peat seperatly in different experiments. but still the plants are not sustaining their growth.
their roots were also well grwon in MS medium.
the temeperature in that growth room is 24 degree celcius.
if any body has the knwoledge of wheat tissue culture plz, let me know.
  thnanks,

Hi All

I am working on some Arabidopsis plants carrying the gentamycin marker.
For some reason, germination is bad on MS media. I would like to know
if anyone has selected for plants on soil by watering with gentamycin
mixed water or by applying a spray of gentamycin solution?

I really appreciate any suggestion in this regard.

Thanks
Savita
