The Bio-Array Resource (www.bar.utoronto.ca) has predicted all possible CAPS
markers (sets of PCR primers/enzyme combinations) for 96 ecotypes (Col-0 and
C24 included) based on Magnus Nordborg's 2005 partial sequence data set
across 96 accessions. These have not been verified in the lab, but in
general at least 75-80% of them work, based on our experience.
There seem to be several markers for Col-0 versus C24, at least for the
genomic regions I searched. Click the DETAILED VIEW on the output page to
see how the markers would run on virtual gels.
