[Arabidopsis] Can un-fused GFP enter the mitochondria?

Dear all,
it is common knowledge that the fluorescence of over-expressed,  
un-fused GFP (35S::GFP) can be easily detected in the cytoplasm and  
nucleus of plant cells. Does anyone know whether this free GFP enters  
the mitochondria as well?
