Dear Colleagues,

The 18th Penn State Plant Biology Symposium,

"Plant Evolutionary Genetics and Genomics",

will be held at Penn State University (University Park, PA, USA) May 18-21,
2011. This long-running symposium series is organized entirely by members
of the Plant Biology Ph.D. program at Penn State, and represents one of the
few international meetings organized by a single graduate group. The
symposium will showcase an impressive array of speakers, all of whom are
world-wide leaders in their disciplines (see listing below). I want to
encourage you to consider attending. The symposium website, including
registration and abstract submission, is
http://www.plantbiosymposium.psu.edu .

Act fast: The abstract and registration deadline is March 31, 2011
(Thursday!).

Please note that discounted registration fees are available to students and
postdocs, and that several short talks will be selected based on the
submitted poster abstracts.

I hope that you can join us in May!

On behalf of the Organizers,
Mike Axtell
