   Meta!Blast, the  3D videogame based on a photosynthetic plant cell, is a
top-ten finalist in the National Science Foundation-Science Magazine Challenge
                     for interactive videogames category.

 Meta!Blast is designed to teach biology and other STEM content to high school
and undergraduate students.  Meta!Blast is created by an interdisciplinary team
 of faculty, teachers, and students, led by metabolic biologist, Eve Wurtele,
 and cell biologist Diane Bassham, both of whom are active in the Arabidopsis
                             and ASPB communities.
