Dear PhD students,
We would like to announce that the registration period for 7th SPPS PhD
Student Conference will be extended until 11th of June in a response to
number of delegates' requests. Therefore we have decided to give everyone
an extra chance to sign up for upcoming conference. At this point, only a
limited number of places are still available for registration. After the
extended deadline of June 11, 2012 we will no longer be able to accept any
further registrations.

After online registration you will receive a confirmation email with
payment instructions. Please keep in mind that the payment should be done
within 2 weeks after registration to reserve a seat. Otherwise you run the
risk of forfeiting your slot in the conference. Registration fee includes

SPPS offers Travel Grants for attending PhD Students! Applications will be

7th SPPS PhD Student Conference will take place from the 12th to the 15th
of September 2012. For the first time the conference will be held in
Estonia, at Laulasmaa.
SPPS is Scandinavian Plant Physiology Society
(http://www.spps.fi/cgi-bin/SPPS.pl), established in 1947 and has an
international journal - Physiologia Plantarum. SPPS PhD student
conferences are organized biannually by PhD students and its aim is to
create a social network of young plant scientists all over the world.
In this international conference PhD students will have the unique
opportunity to present their work in either oral or poster presentations
and gain new knowledge from broad topics in plant biology, ranging from
molecular interactions to large-scale plant-environment interactions. In
addition to scientific program there will be social events every evening
enabling informal discussion and contact promotion.
The conference offers PhD students the opportunity to interact with and
learn from experienced plant scientists who attend the meeting as invited
speakers.

Netherlands)
