UC Global Food Forum to air live, free webcast
The University of California, through its Division of Agriculture and
Natural Resources (ANR), will bring together some of the worldâs leading
experts on Tuesday, April 9, in Ontario, Calif., for a Global Food Systems
The program will address how to sustainably feed 8 billion people by 2025.
Panelists include researchers, policymakers, economists, farmers,
environmentalists and geopolitical experts.
Some program highlights are:
9:15 a.m., keynote speaker, Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and
president of the Mary Robinson Foundation â Climate Justice
9:35 a.m., Global Panel, moderated by New Yorker correspondent Michael
2:30 p.m., California panel, moderated by California author Mark Arax
