The North American Arabidopsis Steering Committee (NAASC) has
applied to the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) for funding to:

under-represented minority groups and/or faculty from
federally-designated U.S. Minority-Serving Institutions, Historically

Depending on funding, NAASC will provide up to 8 awards to support full

Awards have a defined budget to cover early-bird registration (must
register by March 1), economy accommodations, economy travel expenses,
and non-conference meals (if budget allows).

Depending on funding- we hope to partially defray meeting
travel costs of up to $1850 for each of eight early career award recipients.
U.S. Citizens/permanent residents only may apply (please see application for
all requirements, including the requirements to
submit a research abstract, and present a poster and/or talk at the
conference, if awarded travel funds.)

*We thank the NSF for their continuing generous support of U.S. researchers
in the plant biology community.*
