we're searching for antibodies risen against the three common resistances PAT (phosphinothricin-N-acetyltransferase from Streptomyces hygroscopicus), HPT (hygromycin phosphotransferase), and NPTII (neomycin phosphotransferase type II) to test plant extracts for stability of these enzymes.
Does anybody from the community have good experience on either commercially available or self-risen antibodies (which might even still be unpublished but which might be shared on a collaborative basis)?
Very unfortunately, there are only very few references available which either show that a commercial antibody reliably works (for NPTII: abcam Anti-Neomycin Phosphotransferase 2 antibody, ab60018) or that self-made sera or antibodies function: for PAT, we found Wang et al. Protein Expr Purif. 2013, for HPT: Gong et al. J Biol Chem. 2010 (a collaboration partner of the latter will provide us with some antibody). All this is not really satisfying yet.
Looking forward hearing from you,
