JOB VACANCY

POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN CHLOROPLAST IMMUNITY

Vacancy Reference: 78572

Closing date: 11th September 2017

GRANT/JONES LABS, UNIVERSITY OF WARWICK

We are seeking an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher to work on a
BBSRC-funded project that seeks to understand the role of the
chloroplast in plant immunity.

This exciting multidisciplinary project builds directly on novel
findings that demonstrate plant pathogen effector proteins target the
chloroplast to suppress plant immunity. The successful candidate will
join a collaborative project between the University of Warwick and Max
Planck Institute in Golm to probe the mechanistic basis of chloroplast
immunity using proteomics, cell biology and biophysical experimental
approaches.

This post will be based in Professor Murray Grants lab in the School of
Life Sciences at the University of Warwick.
