this is an important symptom of temporary hearing loss caused by noise 
exposure.....it is likely that the ringing will go away in the next few 
days BUT it is a strong sytemic warning that you are causing damage to 
your hearing. Contiunation of this type of behavior will likely result 
in permanent threshold changes and then you will be quite sorry that you 
did not wear ear protection......fatherly advice from your friendly 
audiologist!!!!...tnd
