Welcome to bionet.audiology!
By way of introduction, I am enclosing an edited copy of the original proposal
to establish this newsgroup. This document should serve as a guideline for
appropriate discussion topics, as well as general delimitations of the group's
focus.
Although bionet.audiology is an unmoderated newsgroup, there are two
discussion leaders who can answer any questions that you might have
concerning the group. Please feel free to contact either of us at the
addresses listed below:

associated with the manufacturing of hearing aids and/or their
components cannot use this newsgroup to advertise products.
Individuals can answer direct questions pertaining to their products.)
3. Positions : Brief announcements of open positions including clinical,
research, and teaching positions. These announcements should be
kept as brief as possible with interested candidates requesting further
information via personal email response to hiring party.
Depending on newsgroup activity, future creation of subgroups of
bionet.audiology will be addressed. For example, subgroups focusing
on electrophysiology or hearing aids will be addressed and discussed
at that time depending on volume of activity.
Although the intent of this newsgroup is for persons working in the field
of audition to discuss research and clinical topics, there may be
individuals posting to the newsgroup that seek medical advice.
Respondents to such postings will be encouraged to reply via private
email and should assume all responsibilities for future actions.
