What you seem to be discussing or describing is what is usually referred
to as a Central Auditory Processing Disorder or CAPD.

You may find assistance on the CAPD listserv. You can subscribe by
sending email to:

listserv at sjuvm.stjohns.edu

message:

subscribe CAPD <name>

Just substitute your real name for <name>

There are many professionals and parents on that listserv who may help
you.

Additionally, if you could be more specific in what information you want,
I'd be happy to answer any questions either through the CAPD listserv to
private email.
