You might try contacting the Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA)
based in Oregon.  I'm not personally familiar with it, but a poster
in alt.support.hearing-loss is a member and recommended it highly.
Try doing a search with your browser for "VEDA".  Best wishes for both
